I am really inspired by the work of Henry Yan and Zhaoming Wu. I really like how loose they approach their drawings with such confident bold strokes, dabs, and tiny details to create drawings with such rich lightning!!! *ahem* lighting!!! I really wish we got to draw like this more in our foundation year at Otis. I am going to keep doing these until I get something close to their level, even if it kills me!

Nice!!! I haven't touched charcoal in awhile, but this has inspired me
Thanks Wade. I can't wait to see more of your work. =)
made an account just to post here.
from what i have seen of your work and what my crazy mind has made up to be how i view as 'your style', you may actually die trying to be like those two. Zhaoming Wu is strong in the way of the palette knife so i have no advice to help u there.
Henry Yan seems to do a quick 5-10 min sketch of everything, then focuses on a small* area to make perfect. from what ive seen u do, you seem to like to make everything as perfect as possible. i am probably wrong in this, but that is how i view your style. he reminds me of a style i was taught fall semester. ill make a blog about it one day...maybe
